Vickie Causa is principal owner of CausaAssociates, LLC, begun in 2008.  Her HR career path has been educational, rewarding and very fulfilling - her Psychology background seemed a natural fit for the world of Human Resources.  Vickie began her career as an administrative assistant in the HR department of a global pharmaceutical company.  Through job changes and a thirst for learning, she worked her way through all facets of Human Resources, Training and Development, and gained her certified career coach designation. She rose to the level of Senior Vice President of HR, learning and growing along the way. Vickie's corporate global HR career gave her the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Europe, Asia, the US and Canada, where she gained an appreciation for working with people from various cultures, backgrounds and value systems.  From designing, developing and conducting training and career development sessions throughout Asia, to building world-class HR teams in Europe, the US and Canada, coaching and counseling have become the cornerstone of her success.  This experience taught her invaluable lessons she is eager to share. 

CausaAssociates, LLC is pleased to introduce The Career Corner.  Engaging with The Career Corner, individuals will have an opportunity to work one-on-one with a career consultant - a professional who helps empower working professionals and recent graduates entering the workforce to make educated decisions on the direction of their careers.  Using an array of tools, a Coach/consultant will assist individuals with direction and guidance as it relates to their work or profession, including career planning, career changes, career advice and career decisions.  Engaging a career coach is a proactive approach to building mental fitness - a personalized approach to fit a client and cover a range of career topics.  A good coach is an active listener; a strong communicator committed to an individual's growth and development. Karen Rauch joined The Career Corner in 2024, after having an extensive career in Human Resources. Karen’s background, working within a global Fortune 500 company is diverse, working in various HR professional and management positions. Karen can particularly relate to those that have experienced job loss as she herself was impacted by reorganization changes. She understands what it takes to determine career choices and market yourself for the next opportunity. She also has direct knowledge of the outplacement search process, having worked as a consultant with an outplacement company during her own career search. Karen’s work background and education in business and psychology, helps connect with job seekers to understand what they have done in the past and what they are looking for in their next career move. Linda Maremont joined The Career Corner in2025.  Linda’s prior experiences include HR leadership roles in diverse industries, both national and international, public and private. She has broad experience as an HR business partner and specialties in Compensation, Benefits and Talent Acquisition. Experienced at forging strong partnerships with business leaders and staff, providing solutions that are competitive, motivational, and aligned with business needs, she is a strong leader with both strategic and operational agility. Linda has forged a solid reputation for partnering with business leaders by providing excellent customer service across the HR platform, devising solutions for talent needs.
